Stories of conflict: Ethnicity, social class, and difference in transnational divorce narratives

چکیده
Based on a study of transnational divorce in Dutch–Moroccan and Dutch–Egyptian families, this paper will analyse the role ethnicity, social class difference narratives. It show how public narratives marriage migration, fraudulent marriages cultural influence stories people tell about their subsequent they make sense experiences. These are not limited to national context but move across borders, circulating fields. By studying at both intra-ethnic inter-ethnic relationships, also aims further complicate notions ethnicity relationships. these two categories together, it becomes clear intersects with other inequalities such as well differences ascribed regional origin can produce ethnic even within marriages.
